How long before war between Israel and Iran?
Is either side willing to use nuclear weapons?
The Iranians want to occupy Jerusalem so I believe are less likely to use weapons of mass destruction if they have them.
I'm less sure of the Israelis.
Remember the prophecies claim the Mahdi cannot come until chaos reigns.
For some this means they must bring about chaos in order to usher in the Mahdi's coming.
Don't lose sight of the fact that the Mahdi is a Shia figure not Sunni.

How many Antichrists will there be?
One of the things that helps me make sense of prophecy is to not try to attribute all that I know or believe about the Antichrist as references to one man. What if there are several Antichrists yet to come? There have been several in the past. Look at the evil men that the antichrist system spawned during the time surrounding World War II.
By Antichrist I mean someone who is against Christ or someone who stands in his place.
A schismatic Pope or Antipope could be described as an Antichrist.
The Mahdi or Gog from Magog could be described as an Antichrist.
A political or military leader who seeks to dominate the world by means of force could be described as an Antichrist.
None of these men should be confused with the Antichrist that Scripture tells us will come after the Millennium.
It seems that the antichrist system periodically throws up new Antichrists. It is especially powerful at this moment in history. Are we again on the verge of the appearance of several Antichrists at the same time?

Will the Emergence of the Mahdi Trigger the Appearance of the Great Monarch?
Although it might seems that the obvious answer is yes, there is another factor which must enter into the calculus. Prophecy suggests the Royal Messiah or Great Monach will appear when all seems lost and France has been invaded. There is however another event which preceeds the appearance of he who will save France and so much of the world.
Prophecy tells us there will be an astrological event preceeding the the coming of Prince Henri. The world is going to experience an Impact. An object from outer space will collide with planet earth and cause chaos of unimaginable proportions.
The Impact will occur in an ocean causing billions of tonnes of water to be pushed up into the atmosphere. The displaced water will not remain in suspension. For many weeks torrential rain will fall. Imagine an inch of rain per hour for a month!
How many regions of the world can survive?
How many growing seasons will be lost to the inundation?
It is time to think about how to prepare spiritually for the Impact. Lent is only a few weeks away. It might be a good time to reinstitute the traditional Wednesday and Friday fast. Fasting has many spiritual and physical benefits, all of which will be a blessing in the days ahead.
If, as I believe, Henri is currently living in obscurity and poverty, we could be in solidarity with him by offering our hunger pangs for his good health and the success of his mission.

Will the Mahdi Appear Soon?
It is clear that the people of the Near/Middle East are ripe for change. Current events in Eygpt and North Africa speak to the increasing discontent of many Muslim societies. There seems to be more than anger about rising food prices. No doubt many are being paid to riot but I doubt most are.
Israel must be terrified. Imagine an Eygpt with members of the Muslim Brotherhood in political power.
Equally concerned must be the many multinational corporations that prefer to deal with a greedy dictator like Murbarak, than representatives of the people. I read that America sends Eygpt more than one billion dollars a year in "Aid", of which $300 million is for Murbarak's own personal use. Imagine that!
How generous of the American taxpayers. Is it any wonder the budget can't be balanced.
What is it going to take for the Arabs of Eygpt, the Persians of Iran, the "Moors" of North Africa and the Turks to come together and present something approximating a united front to those manipulating them?
The Mahdi or Hidden Thirteenth Imam, is such a potential agent. Many Shia Muslims are anticipating his coming with relish. Could a Mahdi convince the Shia and Sunni Muslims to cooperate on the basis of,
"My enemy's enemy is my friend"?
There are no obvious signs that the Mahdi is near but by definition he must remain hidden until a particular set of circumstances cause him to be revealed.
What are those circumstances? CHAOS!
The prophecies state that only when chaos rules can the Hidden Imam appear.
Time is running short. Those who are awaiting the emergence of the Mahdi can justify formenting chaos so that the Hidden One can be revealed. Are we talking months, years or decades? This writer believes we are talking months or at most, a year or two.
The first crisis has alrready begun in France. Economic collapse is on the horizon. The seer Marie Julie Jahenny said civil war will follow.
When the nominally Christian Europe and the nominally Muslim Near and Middle East are sufficiently manipulated, it should be propicious for the Hidden Imam to appear.
