Why is God giving us the gift of the Illumination of Conscience?
It is a gift won for us, her children, by the Blessed Virgin, who knows that without it humanity is finished.
Why is it necessary?
The fog of error is so dense only the Virgin can lead us back to the truth about her son.
The Blessed Virgin, as the Mediatrix of All Grace, has a unique relationship with the Holy Spirit that has been likened to a spousal relationship. Calling on that relationship, the Blessed Virgin, has won for each of us, her children, the greatest of blessings, the opportunity to see the truth about our lives in the Light of Christ.
What do natural parents wish for their children?
That they would know the truth and that the truth would set them free.
Soon, each of us will know the truth about our personal "morality". We will know how much we have manipulated the truth to suit our needs and how far that manipulation has distanced us from Christ, who is the real Truth.
Because the Blessed Virgin, is the Mother of God, she has a unique perspective on how far each of us are from her Son.
What a great Mother we have. What a tremendous gift she has won for us.
The Blessed Virgin has won what Christ would freely give if we would encounter Him in prayer and sacrament on a frequent basis. Jesus wants us to know and repent of our sins. He has given us the means to do that and be truly converted but most of us ignore the means.
There is still time to prepare for the Warning by asking God to reveal through the Blessed Virgin's intercession, the reality of our conscience, so that we might repent now.

"The Cult of Man."
A brief extract from Pope Paul VI's words during the closing of Vatican Council II on December 7, 1965.
"Secularizing and profane humanism has finally appeared in its terrible stature, and has, in a certain sense, defied the Council. The religion of God Who became man has encountered the religion of man who makes himself God."
"What happened?
A clash, a battle, an anathema?
This could have happened; but it did not take place.
The old story of the Samaritan has been the model of the Council's spirituality.
An unlimited sympathy has pervaded it completely.
The discovery of human needs has absorbed our Synod's attention."
"Recognize for it at least this merit, you modern humanists, who deny the transcendence of the highest things, and recognize our new humanism: we too, we more than anybody, have the cult of man."
The cult of man or secular humanism was initially the religion of Marxism but today it is the religion of most intellectuals and those with a liberal disposition.
Has the religion of God, who became man, been overwhelmed by the religion of man who makes himself God?
Has the revolt against God yet reached the point where the God, who became man, will intervene and what form will the intervention take?
I believe the intervention will be a Great Illumination of Conscience!
Through the intervention of Mary Most Holy, each of us will see the truth about ourself in the "Light of Christ."
We will come face-to-face with the Truth who is the Christ, He who referred to Himself as the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Many people have lost their lives in recent years to eathquakes, tsunamis, storms, inundations and other natural disasters. Many more will lose their lives to radiation poisoning and from the polluting of the Gulf of Mexico.
Surely through the mediation of Our Blessed Mother, God will soon give us the Illumination so that we might know the Truth and be set free from the Cult of Man.

The Illumination of Conscience or the Warning
Many of us have seen or heard of the boy Colton who claims he went to heaven during a near-death experience, when he was four years old. He describes how he sat on the lap of Jesus.
Helen Tzima Otto suggests that the Illumination of Conscience will be similar to a near-death experience. In her book, The Economy of Salvation, 2009, she quotes from the research of Dr. Raymond Moody, who has identified a number of common elements in near-death experiences.
Below are several of those elements, I believe we will each undergo during the Illumination.
1. An out of body sensation
2. Meeting the Being of Light
3. Reviewing our entire life; all its acts and failures to act from the point of view of the Creator
4. Re-entering the body
5. Having the certain knowledge that there is a life other than the one we normally experience
We will all endure the Illumination at the same time. I believe humanity will be in what I will call a "state of suspended animation".
We will each react differently to our Illumination, with most of us lacking the words to describe what happened.
The critical issue will be our belief in or denial of our experience.
Many of us will choose to change our lives out of gratitude for being given a second chance.
What is preventing me from making that change today, in anticipation of the Illumination?
