Denial Revisted

On January 3rd, I blogged on the subject of denial. It had little to do with the Great Monarch directly but more to do with the events leading up to his appearance. In that blog I mentioned the economic crisis that has begun in France, suggesting that the crisis would not be confined just to France.

Well the crisis is much broader in just three months but denial continues to hinder our ability to see it. One aspect of the crisis involves the ongoing pollution of the Gulf of Mexico and the impact on the Gulf Stream.
A second aspect involves the nuclear disaster in Japan which threatens the lives of every person living in Japan and the surrounding countries.

In denial we have turned our back on the continuing problems in the Gulf and soon the media will remove the Japan story from page one.

It is twenty five years since Chernobyl. Current estimates suggest that nearly one million people have already died as a result of the Chernobyl accident. Despite the Cherobyl warning, we continue to build nuclear reactors because they are good business for General Electric and TEPCO, and a handful of other companies that are major campaign contributors.

In twenty five more years, when we are looking at ten or one hundred million dead from the Fukushima accident, will we still be in denial that what is good for business is not necessarily good for people?

In our hearts we know that we are all going to be affected by the Fukushima accident, some more than others, yet there is no public outcry.

Japan has one of the largest economies in the world. At this moment the Japanese economy is badly broken. Before the year is out all economies are going to feel the effect of the destruction of Japan. Can we not see that? Is the denial so great?

The Japanese problem is not just about what color you can order a Toyota. Japan is a key economy. One cannot pull the plug on Japan without the interlocking economies feeling it. Japan has experienced a serious population decline for decades. In the light of the Fukushima situation it may not be an exaggeration to say that Japan may be finished as a "first world" nation.

Is this an opportunity for the people of Japan to find God? Prosperity seems to be inversely correlated with belief in God. As the economic disaster deepens in Japan, it is possible that more people will turn to God looking for answers. Or will denial reign?

Iranian Video Says Mahdi is 'Near'

CBN News reports, "New evidence has emerged that the Iranian government sees the unrest in the Middle East as a signal that the Mahdi--or Islamic messiah--is about to appear."

"CBN News has obtained a never-seen-before video produced by the Iranian regime that says all the signs are moving into place -- and that Iran will soon help usher in the end times."

"While the revolutionary movements gripping the Middle East have created uncertainty throughout the region, the video shows that the Iranian regime believes the chaos is divine proof that their ultimate victory is at hand."

"The propaganda footage has reportedly been approved at the highest levels of the Iranian government."

"It's called 'The Coming is Near' and it describes current events in the Middle East as a prelude to the arrival of the mythical twelfth Imam or Mahdi -- the messiah figure who Islamic scriptures say will lead the armies of Islam to victory over all non-Muslims in the last days."

"The video claims that Iran is destined to rise as a great power in the last days to help defeat America and Israel and usher in the return of the Mahdi. And it makes clear the Iranians believe that time is fast approaching."

All the above and more can be found at cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2011/March/Iranian-Regime-Video-Says-Mahdi-is-Near

If you read my blogs for February 2nd and 3rd you will see that I was asking is he near? (I did refer to him as the thirteenth Imam).

How long before war between Israel and Iran?
Is either side willing to use nuclear weapons?
The Iranians want to occupy Jerusalem so I believe are less likely to use weapons of mass destruction if they have them.
I'm less sure of the Israelis.
Remember the prophecies claim the Mahdi cannot come until chaos reigns.
For some this means they must bring about chaos in order to usher in the Mahdi's coming.
Don't lose sight of the fact that the Mahdi is a Shia figure not Sunni.

A Great Sign Appeared in the Heavens

Please find below an extract from a message given to Marie Julie Jahenny in 1935.
"When you shall see the appearance of the Aurora Borealis, know well that this is the sign of an approaching war. When the light will become visible once again, my mother will rise up before the setting sun to forewarn that the times are here. The evil ones will only see a terrifying monster and they will cry out frightened and in despair, but it will be too late. I will save many, many souls for the other life."

It is commonly believed that a unique Aurora Borealis occurrred in 1938, just before the outbreak of World War II. Lucia, the Fatima seer, was told a strange light would indicate that a new war was approaching. Lucia did not clearly confirm that the 1938 Aurora Borealis was indeed the strange light.

Is it possible that the forthcoming wars will again be forewarned by an extraordinary Aurora Borealis?
It is not difficult to monitor the internet for extraordinary manifestations of the Aurora Borealis.

"...my mother will rise up before the setting sun to forewarn that the times are here."
This aspect of the message makes me believe this manifestation of the Mother of Jesus is yet to happen.
Again it is not difficult to monitor the internet for reports of unusual figures rising up before the setting sun.

God is good. He has given us much information to help us better understand the events that lie ahead.
If, as I believe, the Illumination of Conscience will occur in my lifetime, I give thanks for the opportunity it will provide to know how deceived I am about the condition of my soul and to repent.

The Illumination of Conscience or the Warning

Many of us have seen or heard of the boy Colton who claims he went to heaven during a near-death experience, when he was four years old. He describes how he sat on the lap of Jesus.

Helen Tzima Otto suggests that the Illumination of Conscience will be similar to a near-death experience. In her book, The Economy of Salvation, 2009, she quotes from the research of Dr. Raymond Moody, who has identified a number of common elements in near-death experiences.
Below are several of those elements, I believe we will each undergo during the Illumination.
     1. An out of body sensation
     2. Meeting the Being of Light
     3. Reviewing our entire life; all its acts and failures to act from the point of view of the Creator
     4. Re-entering the body
     5. Having the certain knowledge that there is a life other than the one we normally experience
We will all endure the Illumination at the same time. I believe humanity will be in what I will call a "state of suspended animation".
We will each react differently to our Illumination, with most of us lacking the words to describe what happened.
The critical issue will be our belief in or denial of our experience.
Many of us will choose to change our lives out of gratitude for being given a second chance.
What is preventing me from making that change today, in anticipation of the Illumination?

Who Decided To Make War On Libya?

Obama, Cameron and Sarkosy.
What an unholy trinity!
Given what we now know about these three men, if they asked me for $2 to help them in their political struggles, I could not respond with a yes.
How can I sit back and allow these opportunists to invade yet another country whose people were already suffering greatly?
There is nothing like a war to cause a lift in public opinion polls.
Is it Obama who will be held to account for the destruction of Libya or Gaddafi?
No doubt God will hold both men accountable but will he not also hold me equally accountable for going along with it?
Afterall, silence is assent.
Is Iraq any better for our intervention?
Is Afghanistan?
Will the people of Libya be giving thanks in a year from now for all the high explosives and depleted uranium we used to "liberate" them?
Shame on Russia and China that they did not use their power in the U.N. to prevent this.
Shame on me that I allow Obama to kill and injure countless people in my name.
Clearly the use of force against the people of Libya is nothing to do with being humanitarian.
If humanitarianism was of real interest to me as an American citizen, I would do more to prevent the genecide that has been going on in Palestine since 1948.
When it all boils down, it is me that supports each of these wars.
Are they not my tax dollars at work?
Is it because I claim to be a Christian and those being killed are only Muslims?
Soon it will be my turn to experience pain and suffering, and perhaps death.
Surely justice demands it!
