Why do I feel so convinced that Satan's 100 year reign will end in 2017?
It is because of the things that happened in 1917, which could have been the beginning of Satan's reign!
In February 1917, the Russian Revolution began.
(On October 25, there was an insurrection in Petrograd, as a result of which the Bolsheviks took control.)
On 27 May 1917, the Pope promulgated the first formal Code of Canon Law.
A good thing on the face of it but Canon 1543 read,
"If a commodity which is consumed by its first use be lent on the stipulation that it becomes the property of the borrower, who is bound to return to the lender not the thing itself, but its equivalent only, the lender may not receive any payment by reason of the loan itself."
This teaching was a continuation of the Church's unbroken history but a tragic 'however' was added,
"In the giving or lending of such a commodity, however, it is not in itself unlawful to make an arrangement for the recovery of interest at the rate allowed by the civil law, unless that rate is clearly excessive."
What had been unlawful and sinful now became lawful if civil law allowed it.
Remember civil law also allows abortion, birth control, divorce and same-sex marriage.
Without this critical change in Canon Law, Catholics would have been unable to participate in the lending or borrowing of money with interest, and Protestants might have asked themselves about the morality of usury.
What a different place the world would be today if the teaching had not been changed.
In 1917, Europe was enmeshed in an evil war that was ultimately to lead to an even worse war with the rise of National Socialism in Germany.
In 1917, the reigning Pope was seriously concerned about the formation of Catholic priests and bishops, and their emphasis on education at the expense of faith formation. In his encyclical Humani genoris redemptionem, dated June 15, Benedict XV wrote,
"What gives a man's life worth and vigor and makes them promote wonderfully the salvation of souls is Divine Grace. 'God gave the increase. (2Cor3:6)'. But the grace of God is not gained by study and practice: it is won by prayer, therefore he who is little given to prayer or neglects it altogether, vainly spends his time and labor preaching, for in God's sight his sermons profit neither himself nor those that hear him."
The Pope went so far as to request that all those priests who are incapable of preaching be weeded out.
How many priests and bishops since 1917, have seemingly lacked Divine Grace but were not weeded out?
How many priests and bishops have devoted their time to earning an advanced degree?
I don't believe it was coincidental that the Blessed Virgin appeared at Fatima in 1917, to give the Church grave warnings!
Yet still the solemn consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart by the Pope and the bishops in union with him, has not happened

Is the Pope About To Act?
On Ocober 26th, 2001, the magazine "Inside the Vatican" reported that Sister Lucia of Fatima sent Pope John Paul II a letter of warning, in which it is claimed she said,
"Soon there will be great upheaval and punishment."
Anyone who is familiar with timing given by heaven knows that 'soon' could easily be ten years.
The same magazine, "Inside the Vatican" has just printed, in its currrent edition, a letter from a person responsible for Vatican travel reporting that all the archbishops of the Church have been called to Rome for fourteen days starting October 10th. Those who cannot attend by October 17th are being told not to come at all.
No information was provided as to the reason for this 'synod' of archbishops to gather in Rome.
It will not have escaped the attention of Fatimaists that the archbishops will be in Rome for the anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun, 94 years ago. As I have suggested in an earlier blog, I believe the 100 year anniversary of Fatima coincides with the 100 years of increased power and influence given to the devil. If this is the case, the devil has only 6 years to bring about his triumph over the greater part of humanity.
Would the Blessed Virgin allow her adversary, to complete his span without winning for her children the grace of the "Illumination of Conscience"? I don't think so!
What are the archbishops going to discuss for two weeks?
Could it be the Warning or Illumination of Conscience?
Could it be an impending "great upheaval and punishment" as reported by Inside the Vatican in 2001?
Could it be a decision to release the missing Blessed Virgin's commentary on the third part of the secre ?
Time is short! It seems to me the Church will be overwhelmed by people seeking explanations and guidance after the Warning. What a great blessing it would be if the Holy Father was to instruct the world's bishops to prepare in advance. It would require enormous courage on the part of the Pope to step out in faith and make preparations in anticipation of the Warning.
I believe Pope Benedict XVI is the last pope of the 'common era' and as such is the one who will be forced to flee Rome and be martyred. I pray that he will use his remaining time wisely to do what requires great bravery by acting outside what we normally think of as the Vatican 'box'.
Please pray for the Pope.

The Scoffers Won The Day - Again
May 21st came and went and no Rapture.
One pastor was proven to be a 'false' prophet.
It's not hard to be a scoffer in these end times.
Afterall, 2,000 years have passed and still no Rapture.
The odds are always in favor of the scoffers.
The issue for me isn't is the Rapture Biblical or not?
The issue is, does God, in an act of mercy, choose to reveal apocalyptic events and timetables?
Many events and times have been revealed and published before the fact. Fatima is probaly the best known of the 20th century. The Mother of God revealed that World War I was about to end but unless mankind changed, a worse war would begin during the reign of Pope Pius XI. She also predicted the evils of Communism/Socialism. Several other predicted events have yet to occur.
The final Fatima apparition and miracle occurred in October 1917.
The Bolsheviks gained control of the Russian Revolution in the same month.
It is said that Jesus gave the devil 100 years to do his worst and who would argue the devil has been unbelievably successful?
I am convinced that events leading up to 2017 are going to reveal that God's warnings, delivered through the Mediatrix of ALL Grace, should not be ignored, even if one man got it wrong on May 21st.
It is easy to be a scoffer. It is just as easy to be a doomsayer.
Pope John XXIII called the children of Fatima doomsayers when he opened the council.
Pope Paul VI was a doomsayer himself soon after he closed it.
The choice is not between being a scoffer or a doomsayer.
The choice is between believing that the devil is winning but that the Mediatrix will be given the Grace to warn each of us and show us the truth before it is too late.
I choose to believe that a Merciful God will allow the Mediatrix to give us one more "Warning" before localised tribulations become universal.
God is so merciful. God knew that giving the devil that much power and time would have dire consequence, so I pray that through the intercession of the Mediatrix, each of us will experience an Illumination of Conscience.
The truth will kill some of us.
The truth will cause some of us to repent and be converted.
The truth will have no effect on some.
What greater grace could the Creator give the creature than the truth about the deceptions of the devil. I believe this Good God will not allow the Tribulation to become universal until the truth is revealed to each of us, individually and personally.
Daily, I pray for the Illumination of Conscience. That doesn't mean that I couldn't die in a flood, an earthquake or a tornado in the meantime. But the Mediatrix made certain promises to those who would make the Five First Saturdays of Reparation. I am counting on that promise just as much as I am counting on her predictions/prophecies.
What else is worth counting on other than the Mercy of a Good God?
I know I can count on God 's justice too, but I beg for mercy before justice.

A Great Sign Appeared in the Heavens
Please find below an extract from a message given to Marie Julie Jahenny in 1935.
"When you shall see the appearance of the Aurora Borealis, know well that this is the sign of an approaching war. When the light will become visible once again, my mother will rise up before the setting sun to forewarn that the times are here. The evil ones will only see a terrifying monster and they will cry out frightened and in despair, but it will be too late. I will save many, many souls for the other life."
It is commonly believed that a unique Aurora Borealis occurrred in 1938, just before the outbreak of World War II. Lucia, the Fatima seer, was told a strange light would indicate that a new war was approaching. Lucia did not clearly confirm that the 1938 Aurora Borealis was indeed the strange light.
Is it possible that the forthcoming wars will again be forewarned by an extraordinary Aurora Borealis?
It is not difficult to monitor the internet for extraordinary manifestations of the Aurora Borealis.

This aspect of the message makes me believe this manifestation of the Mother of Jesus is yet to happen.
Again it is not difficult to monitor the internet for reports of unusual figures rising up before the setting sun.
God is good. He has given us much information to help us better understand the events that lie ahead.
If, as I believe, the Illumination of Conscience will occur in my lifetime, I give thanks for the opportunity it will provide to know how deceived I am about the condition of my soul and to repent.
